In Korea where I was born and have lived, people usually don't buy second hand stuff except
cars and houses.
Maybe it's because we make everything in Korea so it's so easy to buy anything with cheap price.
Especially after internet, you order anything online you could get it in 2 days right at your door in Korea.
Fast, cheap, and New. why do you need any second hand?
But Canada, maybe it's way too big to deliver anything in a day, plus most of stuff is made in other countries.
So slow and expensive to have anything new online. (just compare to Korea's system)
Anyways, I've started looking for this second hand stuff through "Kijiji" site or "Garage Sale".
it's cheap and fun. you could get almost new stuff if you are lucky and you could get discount too^^
sometimes you could find some kids toys that you can't find in canada.(ok, maybe edmonton.. hoho)
spending some candy money and i'm happy with my little ones.
it's different and fun experience. I think i'll stop this habit when my kids are old enough,
so i'll enjoy this little play for a while. And of course I can sell my stuff too!!
I don't need to waste anything cause somebody will use it again happily as well.
